The Stephenson Smart Grand East Anglian Run (GEAR) team have been presented with a trophy for winning the Corporate Challenge.
Neil Gayton, accepted the award as fastest team member, alongside his colleagues at the Corn Exchange in Kings Lynn.
The GEAR 10K team received the award from Dr Keyvan Djamarani, the Managing Director of Bespak, who sponsored the corporate race.
The challenge brings together businesses from across the region to compete as a team and take part in one of the county’s largest runs.
Neil said: “After finishing in second place in the previous two years, it was great to win the Bespak Corporate Challenge for 2019.
“Although the trophy looks good on display in our reception area, the main reason Stephenson Smart encourage employees to enter the event is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, which we hope will improve their physical and mental health. We look forward to trying to regain the trophy in 2020!”
Team members were (left to right) Harriett Wilkinson, Emily Brown, Paul Rumbellow, Martyn Benstead, Neil Gayton, Paul Richardson, Mark Tilbrook, Veronique Smith and Olivia Allen.
They are pictured with Dr Djamarani. Allan Nelson and Daniel Pacey were also part of the team, but are missing from the picture.
The GEAR Race takes place every spring and is set for May 3, 2020.
