Graduate/A-level Trainee Accountants

We have openings for graduate/A-level trainee accountants across our offices – you will receive excellent training, mentoring and support gaining exposure to a range of clients.
Your role will be varied, enjoyable and challenging. The role is hands on, supporting your team with a portfolio of clients assisting with financial and management accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies along with personal and business tax returns. You will carry out bookkeeping activities including journal postings and ledger transactions so numeracy skills, accuracy and possessing an eye for detail will be paramount.
Subject to your satisfactory progression you will be given the opportunity of being seconded to ad hoc assignments (including audit) to enhance your development and experience.
When required you will assist with general administrative duties including meeting and greeting clients, filing, answering the telephone and supporting the team to meet deadlines as required.
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics plus 2 A levels (or equivalent). We would welcome applicants who are currently studying AAT level 3 or 4 or hold an accounting or business related degree. The successful applicant will be supported in their professional development through AAT/ACCA/ACA/CTA qualifications through a level 3, 4 or 7 apprenticeship. The study programme allows for generous study leave in addition to 22 days annual leave plus statutory public holidays.
