Personal Assistant to Partner – King’s Lynn

As a Personal Assistant to the Partner your role will be varied, enjoyable and challenging. Working alongside our other Personal Assistants, the role is hands on, providing support to the Partner in providing You will be instrumental in enabling us to give enhanced support to our clients by assisting them with the administration of estates. We undertake this work for clients during what can be a very difficult time. We aim to make it easier for the family to appoint a professional to assist and provide peace of mind by reducing the administrative burden on them.

To be considered for this role it is likely you will have previously held a client facing administrative role, possess good verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner. You will be instrumental in supporting the Partner in the administrative requirements involved in preparing applications for Grant of Representation or Letters of Administration, dealing with tax returns and liaising with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of the estate. You must also be able to work to tight deadlines and be committed to providing high levels of customer service. Whilst we encourage a relaxed working environment it is vital that you are well presented, well-spoken and professional.

Ideally you will hold a level 3 business administration qualification (or similar) and be eager to develop your skills and capabilities as part of a level 4 apprenticeship. You should demonstrate good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and be comfortable adopting new technologies and processes. The Firm has recently announced significant investment in its IT capability. You will be challenged with acquiring and maintaining an excellent working knowledge of the systems that you will be required to use to undertake your role.
