Senior Accountant

We are looking to recruit a senior or semi-senior accountant to work at our expanding Great Yarmouth office. The successful candidate will be qualified or part qualified ACA / ACCA with a minimum 3 years experience working within a practice environment.

Additional study packages may be provided for the successful candidates for completion of professional examinations or, as an extension to existing knowledge, further professional examinations such as CTA or STEP.

Responsibilities

The role covers many aspects of financial work including

  • Preparation of annual accounts
  • Tax returns both personal & business clients
  • Bookkeeping
  • Forecasts including cashflows
  • Management accounts
  • Liaising with and providing excellent service to clients
  • Assisting with the preparation of Audits
  • Assisting with the training of junior colleagues

Payroll Clerk

We are looking to recruit a payroll clerk to work at our expanding King's Lynn office. The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience.

You will be working in a payroll bureau of 7 members that provides payroll services for our clients. Your duties will include liaising with clients on the telephone and by email.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
  • Checking employee's hours
  • Working out tax and national insurance deductions
  • Setting up new members of staff
  • Calculating overtime
  • Issuing tax forms (P45's for example)
  • Processing year end information and issuing P60's
  • Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay and expenses
  • Calculating and processing auto-enrolment pension liabilities
